Zoom tips for Portland NAACP meetings

• To rename yourself and add your pronouns, go to “Participants” click on more and type how you would like to be identified

• To access different screen views, click the open square in the top right corner of your Zoom app

• To start or stop video click the camera emoji in the bottom left corner of your Zoom toolbar

• Stay muted until you need to speak. The button to unmute is a microphone in the bottom left corner of your Zoom app

• Want to chat? Click the talk bubble in the middle of your toolbar to drop a comment in the chat. Make sure you click on “Everyone” before you hit enter in the chat if you want all participants to see

•  In the “Reactions” tab in your toolbar, (bottom) you’ll find a short list of emojis you can use to silently express your feeling
